5 scheduling questions before buying live transfers
Your available hours matter more than your intention to work harder.
If you sell life insurance alongside another job or responsibility, the first buying decision is about time. A package may be attractive and still be a poor fit for your current schedule. Work through the delivery and follow-up questions before committing your budget.
When can you answer without distraction?
Identify dependable blocks outside your other commitments. Do not count hours when you might be interrupted, driving, or unable to access approved resources. A transfer needs a real receiving window, not a hopeful gap in the day.
Does the provider support that window?
Ask directly about delivery hours and any scheduling restrictions. Get the answer before buying. Do not assume a nationwide offer includes evenings, weekends, or a custom schedule for a part-time producer.
When can you complete the next step?
A call may lead to a later appointment or additional work. Look beyond your initial answering block. If your schedule cannot support the next agreed action, increasing the number of first conversations may add frustration.
What happens if your other schedule changes?
Understand the provider’s process and terms for a requested adjustment. Avoid depending on last-minute flexibility that has not been confirmed. Keep your own commitments visible so you can make the request early when possible.
Can the package fit this week?
Evaluate the actual delivery period rather than averaging availability across a month. A busy workweek or family commitment can change the answer. It is reasonable to wait until your capacity matches what you are considering.
Before you buy
Your next move
Before purchasing, match an actual week of availability to the provider’s confirmed delivery arrangements.
